Best Movies and Movie Trailers of 2010
In 2010, there was something in theaters for every movie lover. Theaters were filled with films that delivered family fun, action, comedy and horror. There were also some highly anticipated sequels out last year.
Families enjoyed trips to the theater to catch the latest adventures of Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 3. Other family favorites included Alice in Wonderland and Shrek Forever After. There were some huge box office hits for action lovers last year. For fans of this genre, Iron Man 2, Inception and Tron Legacy really delivered. Some audiences were in the mood for comedy, and Grown Ups and Little Fockers provided plenty of laughs. Moviegoers flocked to theaters to see the dramas True Grit and The King's Speech. They gave great reviews for these films. Twighlight and Harry Potter fans were not disappointed last year. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 did extremely well at the box office. When it came to thrills and chills, Case 39, Daybreakers and Let Me In had enough scares to send shivers up horror lovers' spines. Audiences rated the above movies highly in terms of satisfaction, but they probably would not have gone to theaters if they had not seen some truly entertaining trailers. Looking at a trailer can be like watching a mini movie. Some trailers are filled with action and adventure. Others provide great laughs or creepy chills. Some of the viewers' favourite trailers for 2010 include Inception, The Social Network, True Grit, Black Swan and Let Me In.
